Love adverbs?  Many people don’t but it’s nice that you do.  In case you’ve been wondering, there are five general types of this figure of speech, each of them modifying a verb, adjective, adverb or phrase in its own way.

Verb Moods In English Grammar

Aside from tenses, verbs in English also come with moods, which describe its state of being. Some grammar software guides and equivalent books list three types of verb moods; others list four or more. For our purposes, we’ll keep it down to four, combining some of the moods that some literature choose to treat separately.

Personal Pronouns And Their Inflected Forms

When a word is inflected, its form changes ever so slightly, depending on how it is used.  Most of the time, the ending varies to reflect its function in the sentence.  The grammar of many languages, such as Latin, German and Russian, are considered complex because of this requirement.
