Jargon is, for all intents and purposes, unavoidable in technical writing. At some point, you’re going to have to use a technical term, no matter how hard you try to keep the language simple. That doesn’t mean you just throw your hands up and allow your technical documents to turn into an impossible-to-read mess of strange words, though. Instead, you work to minimize it.
