I think this is self explanatory. But first, for those who are not into blogging; let me give you a brief introduction. Blogging is the most popular way of expressing one’s thoughts about a certain subject or just merely getting famous thru writing in the Internet. Nowadays, there are thousands of blogs published and millions of bloggers who are keen on writing fresh articles into their blogs by the minute. Of course you need good grammar when blogging; it will be extremely embarrassing when people read your blog and it is not understandable.

You also have to realize why blogging is famous. To those who are into social networking, this increases their chances to get to know more people. For those who are into merchandising and advertisements, once their blog becomes famous, they get more visitors who will click on the ads and presto, instant money for them. Now, if your grammar is top-notch, then you will have a good chance with your blog getting famous because the content is understandable. But when your grammar skill is poor, then expect your blog to feel lonely.

If you want to improve your grammar, you can start by practicing. Get all those words that you are having a problem with and check out their meanings. Once that is done, try creating sentences from those difficult words and then check them if they correct. If you have a computer, then much better as you can use grammar checkers to correct misspelled words and then follow how they are spelled correctly. It takes time but if you are willing to wait, then you will be rewarded greatly once you start making your very own blog. It always is an advantage if your grammar is top-notch.

If you are completely in charge of your children’s education, then you might have a hard time with teaching them some study subjects. Take spelling, for example. Spelling is very important for young children since it is the basic foundation for a good English education. If one does not know how to spell correctly, then you will have a hard time learning proper English in the future.

However, teaching the correct way of spelling might be a challenge, most especially if your kids are very hyperactive and they find study time boring. You certainly don’t want to teach them if their minds are not set to it because they will only end up forgetting it. So therefore, you will need to modify your teaching strategy in order for your kids to listen and learn.

One good way for your kids to learn the value of good spelling is for them to try spelling fun words. For example, if your kids love their pet dog or cat, have them spell out the name of their pet in a black board or paper. Once they are finished, check their work and then teach them on how to spell the word if they made a mistake. You can also have a spelling bee and the winner will receive a special prize, like candies or a toy. I’m pretty sure your kids will be doing all they can to learn how to spell right!

Making their study lessons a fun experience is the key for them to truly appreciate the value of good learning. Tutoring your kids does not need to be a boring experience. This will encourage them to learn proper English without having to rely on English grammar checkers most of the time.

The title was actually what was asked to me by one of my best English teachers. I was flunking my English language class in high school because it was indeed too boring. The fact that I had to stare at the blackboard, trying to absorb all those lessons made me uninterested in the language. Besides, why do I have to learn English anyway? Unfortunately, we all have to. In this modern world, English is the universal language for business and commerce, even with politics! So whether you like it or not, you will have to do something to catch up with that failing grade of yours.

Studying is always the first solution that one can come up when it comes to academic problems. However, the problem relies with how the student is studying. A student who is reading a book while facing the T.V will never understand what he or she reads. When you study, use a room without any televisions, radios or other objects that can distract you.

Next, use the dictionary, the thesaurus and any available resources available to you. If you have a laptop or a PC, you can try using grammar checkers in order to correct yourselves if in case you want to improve your vocabulary. Read English books. Practice writing English sentences and then check it to see if you have improved. Make it a habit to list down difficult words that you might have encountered while in the course of reading a book or answering your English homework. Study hard and be a dedicated student.

Of course, success in your grades in English and all other subjects is dependent on how much you really are passionate with your work. But in any case, determination and perseverance can sometimes be the key to make our studies successful. Keep on reading English books when in doubt; you will learn a lot from them indeed. Also, do not limit yourself with the dictionary. You can also use the thesaurus, which will help you in finding the right synonym for a certain word.

When you read the title of this article, it must have shocked you or maybe even felt insulted when you start reading the first few lines of this article. Now I am not an expert in English myself and I don’t meant to preach others of how important this language is, but with the way most businesses are handled right now, it’s only a matter of time before we start reading the dictionary or visit the nearest computer for a crash course with English software. The most common method of communication in most places around the world is English so you must realize how important to learn good English, right?

We all have been taught how to speak and write English back in our elementary and high school days, but it is unfortunate how a small fraction of today’s youth realize the importance of good communication and writing skills. In college, we already focus ourselves with our chosen profession and the language skills are set aside. Everyone should realize that learning how to speak and write good English is the foundation for having a very successful career. I should know that when applying for a job, one can show how professional he or she is with a good written resume. Or even in school, when your teacher asks you to write a written report, you get good grades if you have a well-made assignment.

If you are interested in improving your own English skills, then don’t worry! It is not yet too late. What you can do is start by practicing your English writing skills. You can start by writing a few simple paragraphs in a notebook and then you can consult a dictionary to check if you have used the correct words and spelled them out without any mistakes. If you have a computer, you can type using the computer and then use grammar checkers to check for mistakes. You can study about correct sentence construction, spelling and verb agreements just by reading the dictionary or going to language websites. Read lots of English books and if you encounter difficult words, then check the dictionary for the meaning. You can do all these in order for you to have fun too! There are some PC games that are designed to enrich your vocabulary. You can try downloading them and then start playing with these games in order for you to improve your own grammar and vocabulary. As most people would say, learning good English should also be fun.

In these days when financial crisis pulls down our daily budget, we all have to find ways on how to save money therefore we begin cutting down on what we spend. When you have kids who are not performing well in their studies, especially with English, you may have hired a professional tutor to help them but now, because of money matters, you might have to consider stopping their daily sessions. Getting a tutor nowadays can be a problem but this does not need to happen if you know how to teach your kids good English.

Now the only challenge that parents meet when they teach their kids good English is how to get their undivided attention. Kids can sometimes become very hyperactive and you need to have them listen to you in order for them to learn. In order to make the experience traumatic and frustrating, you need to make the learning experience a fun one for kids. If you have no idea how to do so, then you take the following simple tips:

First of all, you have to understand that kids have a strong sense of imagination. Therefore, you can use that when dealing with the English language. Try using pictures and let them pronounce and speak what the picture is. If they make mistakes, correct them gently. Remember that they are still children; therefore you need to be gentle with them. Read them a good story, maybe a fairy tale. Once you are done reading, let them pronounce easy words every day until they familiarize themselves.

Next thing you can do is to mix creativity and the English language. For example, you can draw a picture of a cat or a dog and then let them spell it out using colored markers or crayons. It is often a good idea to use this medium as children are very much interested with colors and art. Letting them practice spelling words builds up their confidence and encouraging them makes them more interested in learning good English.

You can also have your kids play with computer games that teach good English grammar like Bookworm and others. You can also let them familiarize and teach them good English checker programs so that they can use it when they have assignments, provided that they ask for your assistance. Remember that teaching your kids proper English need not be too strict. You can make it fun-filled and educational at the same time.

With all the latest English software programs and websites developed today in the Internet, almost anyone would say that the English language is becoming an easier subject for those who wish to learn this language. However, most people are fast becoming too dependent on these programs. Essays, written assignments, even public documents which are supposed to be unique and original are all taken from the Internet and this is not a very good strategy, most especially to those who are not very good with the English language. Let’s say that a power failure hit your house and you need to do an essay for your school work and now that the PC is off, how can you do it? Then at this very moment, you will need to use the one thing that most of us may have already forgotten: the dictionary.

Yes, the dictionary. How many of us have remembered during the olden days, when computers did not exist yet that we always rely on the dictionary to help us when dealing with the English language. Unfortunately, this book is now taken for granted because of the existence of English checkers and other programs that deal with English grammar. But it is often advisable to use the dictionary to increase your expertise with the English vocabulary.

In order for you to increase your word power, it is a good practice to make a list of all English words that you have encountered that might seem too difficult for you to understand. Once this is done, you can then consult the dictionary and then write down what they mean. You can also practice using those words by writing them down into sentences to further improve your writing skills. If you want, you can have someone accompany you in this exercise and both of you can compare your answers. Do not underestimate the English dictionary for it has guided almost all generations when it comes to learning perfect English.

So if I were you, you might want to take a look at your old dictionary in order to improve your English grammar. Besides, it might save you from boredom when you don’t have anything to do.
